Na Seong-beom and Kim Do-young go 1-for-1 in the second team...Na hits first Futures League home run in 11 years

 KIA Tigers' Na Sung-beom (34) and Kim Do-young (20) have picked up the pace ahead of their return to the first team.


Na and Kim started in right field and second base, respectively, against the Lotte Giants of the Futures League at Hampyeong Stadium in Jeollanam-do, South Jeolla Province, on April 21. Na went 1-for-2 with a double, one home run, one RBI, one run scored and one walk, while Kim went 1-for-3. 


In the top of the first inning, Kim Do-young led off with a grounder to third base. Na then took the second pitch from Lotte starter Kim Kang-hyun for a solo home run over the left field fence. It traveled 105 meters. It was Na's first home run in the Futures League in 11 years, since he hit 16 in the 2012 Futures League while playing for NC. 


Kim Do-young led off the third inning with a foul fly to right field. Na Sung-beom drew a walk after a seven-pitch at-bat. In the top of the fifth, Kim Do-young singled to center field to put runners on first and second. However, Na struck out to 메이저사이트 end the inning. Both Na Sung-beom and Kim Do-young were replaced in center field in the sixth inning.


Both Na and Kim missed most of the early part of the season due to injuries. Na has yet to play a single game, while Kim has only played two. Now that they've recovered from their injuries, Na and Kim are focusing on improving their game in the Futures League ahead of their first-team call-ups. 


Na has shown a lot of improvement at the plate, hitting a home run in two consecutive games. Kim Do-young is also on a roll with three hits in two games.
